Road to Journalism

Have you been applying for journalist for these past 2 months and not been successful? If so, then carry on reading! You are in the same boat as me because my blog has also been turned down twice. So, I will give you some tips on how you an do better.

My blog hasn't been chosen yet!
First of all, it is pointless to give your blog in again if you haven't made any changes to it, because that's what the judges are looking out for; whether you have improved. If you don't know how you can improve, simply check out the current journalists to have an idea of what elements might have caught the judges eye.

How can I  make my blog unique?
Perhaps adding more pages or changing the layout of your posts will be a good idea. The main key is to make your blog original. For example, to keep my blog unique, I changed my blog name to 'ChoGossip'. Because I felt a cool, fresh blog name will make my blog sound interesting before someone has actually viewed it.

Requirments for Journalists
To be in for a chance to become a Journalist you must do the following..
  • Your posts on the blog should be creative and unique - you have to write your own posts, not just copy them from a different source like the official blog. However, you are free to use the pictures that have been used in the posts on the Official Blog.
  • All of your posts don't necessarily have to be about Chobots- you can write about different things like a journal about anything you want. For example, write diary entries, publish interviews, write stories, collect information, report gossip/news 24/7... anything!
  • Your blog must be at least a month old and your blog should be updated at least twice a week.
